WSFCS provides summer learning opportunities for rising 2nd-9th grade students with a mix of intense reading and math instruction, STEM, and engaging enrichment activities. It's a full day program at various summer sites across the district. Free program with breakfast and lunch provided.

Daily Schedule 8am-4pm

For students participating in the R.I.S.E program, Before and After school care will be offered at a nominal fee.  The Before-School Program provides a safe, stimulating environment for students whose family situations require student supervision before school hours.  The program begins as early as 6:30am. The After-School Program operates from the close of the regular school day until 6:00 p.m. Children enrolled in the regular day program may enroll in the before or after-school program.

For those that would like to take advantage of the opportunity, Friday care will be available at the summer sites too. Transportation is not provided.

Full day Friday $35
Financial assistance is available for eligible students so that all children will have access as needed.

Jump Start 2021
WSFCS provides summer learning opportunities for rising 2nd-9th grade students who have not met proficiency in reading and math. This is a virtual opportunity for students to have 45-minute intervals of reading and math instruction by a certified teacher and working independently using a digital platform such as i-Ready, EVERFI, or Discovery Education. Students will participate in either the morning or afternoon session. Free program.

Bridge to Course  
WSFCS provides summer learning opportunities for rising 9th-12th grade students who have not met proficiency in reading and math. This is a face-to-face opportunity for students to have 60-minute intervals of science, reading, and math instruction by a certified teacher and working independently using a digital platform such as Edgenuity, EVERFI, or Discovery Education. Students will either attend the morning or afternoon session at select high schools. Free program with breakfast and lunch provided.
